Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coaches. While she was usually the leader within her acting ensemble, in her last season with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
